This is a thermoplastic polymer (acetal resin) consists of polymer chains of Methylene and Oxygen, which ensures a high mechanical resistance.
(Ch2-O) Acetal provides high strength and stiffness coupled with enhanced dimensional stability and ease of machining. acetal is a general-purpose copolymer acetal that is porosity free. The technology used in our manufacturing process ensures that every sheet and rod is free of centerline or core porosity.
On the other hand it is resistant to hot water, hydrocarbons and solvents, and it possesses good bearing and wear properties. Acetal can be used in temperatures range from -58 °F to +230 °F.
Acetal absorbs minimal amounts of moisture, its physical properties remain constant in a variety of environments so it makes acetal high mechanical strength, rigidity and hardness.
Polymersan offers both Natural and Black grade.
